Aria's Story
Aria was diagnosed with Infant Acute Megakaryoblastic Leukemia on Thanksgiving of 2021 and immediately began chemotherapy treatment at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital, which she managed with unimaginable strength. With an infectious smile, piercing blue eyes and warrior spirit, she quickly became a favorite of everyone who cared for her. Despite her hard fought battle, Aria passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 in the arms of her loving parents. While Aria left this earth far too soon, her impact on the people she touched will live on in their hearts forever. It is her joy and love that inspired us to create Aria's Pride.
About Aria's Pride
Our mission is simple: to serve children diagnosed with pediatric cancer and their families. We believe that every family deserves a community of compassionate and understanding people to help them through the ups and downs of the cancer journey. Whether it's providing financial assistance to cover medical bills and travel expenses, connecting families with counseling services or support groups, or simply being a listening ear for those who need it, we are here to help.
Get Involved
We can't do this alone. Our work is only possible because of the generosity and support of people like you. Whether you are able to make a one-time donation or become a recurring supporter, your contribution can make a real difference in the lives of families facing childhood cancer. You can also get involved in other ways - by volunteering your time, organizing a fundraising event, or spreading the word about our mission. Together, we can create a world where no family has to face childhood cancer alone.
